What can I say, I just love London! We spent a couple of days there recently (our first trip with The Little One, exciting!) and it was, once again, very inspiring.
I’d love to live in a house like this, in the Battersea area (our favorite place to stay) // We visited a craftmarket in Richmond. Gotta love the British humor! // Because of the London Design Festival, we could visit showrooms and pop-up galleries full of inspiring work. For their graduation, students of the Royal College of Art had to reinvent the remote control. I love this playful idea by Isaure Bouyssonnie: ‘just insert the key and turn to your favorite channels’! // As part of the festival we also saw some beautiful new designs by Zaha Hadid, like these lamps // We have some beautiful furniture by Ligne Roset in our home, and they displayed some very pretty things in their showroom during the festival. We couldn’t exactly take it home with us, so we bought this comfy knitted blanket instead! // Fine Cell Work organises workshops in prisons to teach the embroidery craft to prisoners. They get paid for their hard work and the organisation sells their beautiful pillows, bags and blankets. We got this pink fish-pillow, which is just so pretty!
