Remember when I was working on this? It’s now finished! I’m so happy with the way it turned out!
Here’s what I did to get a sweater sized M, 55 by 55 cm (in Malabrigo merino worsted): I cast on 104 stitches on needle 5 then purled 6 rows. Then I knit 96 rows in stockingstitch (35 cm). With needle 8 I knit 35 rows in stockingstitch (20 cm), then cast off. I did this twice and sewed the two pieces together. Blocking made the sweater softer but also a bit bigger. I might take in the sides a bit more though. When I started in August I was still a size M. Now I’m finished and I’m losing my pregnancy-fat. I’m slowly getting back to size S. However, it’s ok if it’s a bit too big, it still looks very casual on top of something casual!
